Frat brothers liked the BBQ, I liked the BBQ, what else can I say. Food selection on menu is varied. Not to expensive in my opinion. Place was clean. Secure parking lot. You come to this town for the beach and Bonos BBQ.

I travel to Vero monthly for business and this was my first time eating at this place. I wish I had known about Bonos before. Not the brightest spot in Vero Beach but certainly the best place to chow down on BBQ. Lots of good eats on menu and the prices are pretty good. This place is easy to find, good parking, inside is clean and everybody has got a nice smile for you. I will be back.

Spot recommended by business acquaintance. Menu was very "Southern" oriented barbecue. My meal was fairly priced, served swiftly and professionally. Surroundings were clean, quiet and the temperature was pleasant. I travel considerably with my profession and from here on out, I will judge barbecue dishes by what I dined on at Bonos.

Overcharged for our meals by 50 cents each, then mgr changed it and took it off, got home and checked our credit card and they overcharged by 42 cents....what's up with that.....baked potato not cooked all the way thru....someone needs to look into this and we were told that chowder is 50 cents more than the menu price, no one told us that prior to paying...should be on the menu or waitress should tell customer....

Food has declined. Be careful if you order take out, the last two times we ordered take out, the ribs were not fully cooked. Food service is always good if dining at the restaurant, but the taste of uncooked ribs-chewing, bloody, and stringing, is hard to get out of your thoughts when you think of dining again at Bono's, whether dining inside or takeout, either way. Hope they improve on taking care of all customers, including takeout!

Fine dining. Good menu. Good prices. Very good food. Easy to find, everybody at the resort knew where Bonos was located. Being in the pork business I routinely bring plastic toothpicks everywhere I dine. After we dined I must have went through 5 or 6 picks with my iced tea. On my own pork scale of 1-7 TOOTHPICKS I would rate Bonos at 6 TOOTHPICKS, my wife is the only one to ever rate 7 TOOTHPICKS.

when I go out to eat, this is my pick, but after 12/29/2006 I will never walk in there again. bill was over 100 dollors and I recived a gift card of 50 dollors for christmas went to pay the bill and waiter said the card had no money on it, went to the cashier and got the look like I was lieing, knowing I just took it out of the card it came in befor I left my house, I gave them cash and called the person who gave it to me, they said they would fax there ank statement to prove it, they showed me a piece of paper with a persons name that I never heard og and that it was only for 30 dollors and was used, after the fact they gave me back my 50 cash and didnt even say have dinner on us for keeping you here 30 min longer than you wanted, it was there fault. just the rudness, I wont be back

FOR THE RECORD. One of the best BBQ eateries in all of Florida. Management and Staff are honest and hard working people just like you and me. They take pride in their skills and in the service they provide to the customers.

Menu selections for just about anyones taste and IMHO, all at very reasonable prices. Check it out!

Finally dined at Bonos and pleased that we did so. Very fine menu at reasonable prices. Pleasant surroundings that are open and clean. Ok bathrooms too. If you got a thing for good old boy barbeque (especially babyback ribs) then Bonos will be on your list of places to visit before you leave Vero Beach.

Have eaten just about every where in Vero and Bonos is my favorite spot. Great BBQ menu. Bonos also has a super burger called the Bonos-burger. The place is very clean. Good place to take your favorite lady for a fine evening meal.

We dined here twice during our stay in Vero last week. Once during lunch and later for an evening dinner. Overall a fine barbeque eatery. Easy to find, plenty of parking. The interior was quiet and the surroundings are clean. Large tables that eaisly seat a family of four. Fine selection of barbeque items; suggest everyone try their baby-back ribs. Messy to eat but worth the finger licking effort. Side dishes for anyones tastes. The staff are genial and helpfull in explaining the menu choices. The kids made a mess of themselves eating but they enjoyed everything so much they were still talking about this Bonos eatery a week after we returned home. Prices are reasonable. We will dine here again.

In Daytona for races and had to bike on down to Vero Beach to find out if what all the race people said about this Bonos place was true. Well they were correct. Had some of the best baby back ribs I have ever had. Large portion, generous side dishes and very nice servers. Resaonable prices and wide menu selections, clean restroom and lots of parking, very easy to find if you are visiting Vero for the first time. This place should have 5 STARS.

JUST WANTED TO GIVE MY THANKS TO BONOS FOR THEIR GOOD EATS AND ALL THEIR KINDNESS TO MY STAFF AND I DURING THE HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS. WHILE OTHER EATING ESTABLISHMENTS OPTED TO LEAVE TOWN AFTER THE HURRICANES, BONOS ELECTED TO REMAIN OPEN AND SERVE THE COMMUNITY. SPECIAL THANKS TO SCOTT WILKE.

Very good bbq. I am from Marietta Georgia and in Marietta the best bbq is Williamson Brothers. The bbq at Bonos is as good as Williamson Brothers and I found the Bonos babyback ribs better than the Williamson Brothers bbq ribs. Bonos prices are about the same as backhome. Waitress was real friendly and the wait wasnt too long. I travel a lot and when I come back to Vero beach in May I am going to bring them an old Georgia license plate for their license plate collection. This review asks about kid friendly and I didnt see any kids in Bonos. That is ok with me. A lot of kids in a resturant ruins the atmosphere. I was very satisfied with the two meals I had at Bonos last week and I will return there for bbq.

Ate at Bonos three afternoons in a row while in Vero on business last week. As I am addicted to good BBQ, I tried Bonos at the suggestion of the front desk at the Palm Court Resort Hotel and they were correct. I dined on some of the finest BBQ short ribs I have ever had. When asked their secret, they said it was a combination of the smoking and their own sauces. They took my order fast but I had to wait around 20 minutes for the complete meal but that gave me time to walk around the outside deck of the place and look at all those license plates that decorated the walls, quite interesting. The staff was very friendly and helpfull in selecting different bbq dishes during my three visits there. What more can I say, GREAT BBQ, GREAT DINING experience. Bonos is on my list of things to do when in Vero on business.

After listening to my associates rave about the bbq at Bonos in Vero Beach for more than a year, I took the almost 3 hour drive down to Vero to find out for myself... and I am glad I did! The bbq was fantastic!

I had the rack of short ribs and a super sized burger they call the Bonos burger! The spicey bbq flavor of the ribs was balanced between sweet and just the right amount of sour. I had both baked potatoe and french fries with my main courses. The baked potatoe was a little dry for my tastes and I was forced to used lots of butter. The fries were large, crisp and surprisingly they did not taste oily. The salad was crisp, cold and without any browning of the leafy edges. Their cold tea was excellent - I just wish they had glasses larger than the 20(?) ounce glass.

They took my order very fast, and as to be expected, there was a wait of about 15 minutes for my meal. The ribs are prepared ahead of time (they are smoked) but that Bonos burger was made from scratch and it took some time!

The restroom was very clean and well lighted. There were no kids anywhere in sight, thus the atmosphere was peacefull and quiet, not like many other speciality resturants.

Overall, I was impressed. I plan on bring the spousal unit and her parents down to Bonos next weekend! It's worth the trip!

seated @ the bar, service was poor. Could see turkey left on cutting board entire time of our stay. when we were leaving I noticed the cook look at the turkey breast, then placed back on the heat. fingers were liked while handling food, no gloves. Iced tea was good.
