I had lunch with a friend and was very surprised indeed. We dined on the outdoor dining patio ,very nice setting where you can enjoy a nice meal & carry on a conversation without a noisy atmosphere. We will definitely going back because the indoor dining looked very nice as well (rustic) and had the feel of an old time pub :)
This restaurant is next to the Ohio River. It is easily accessed from Ohio State Rt.11 Lisbon exit. About 30 minutes from Youngstown. Upon entering the restaurant you enter a cozy, warm wood decor environment. Wood decor is used extensively throughout.
We were greeted immediately and seated upon arrival. Our waitress was at the table within two minutes greeting our group, pouring us water and taking orders for cocktails. Throughout the evening service was timely and well paced.
My friend and I ordered the house 2003 Maximus Cabernet Sauvignon Blend. It was a good selection. As appetizers we selected greens and two orders of sausage stuffed in Hungarian peppers with a medium Italian red sauce. Each selection was delicious.
The main course: I ordered the Twin grilled pork chops (24 oz), well done with creamed mashed potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely tasty and exciting to the palate.
One of my two dinner mates ordered the 20 oz porterhouse pork chop with frittata and asparagus. He rated his meal a four star. My other dinner mate had grilled salmon over a rice and herb blend. All that I heard from him was moans of taste satisfaction. He rates his meal a four star.
My twin pork chop meal, with the sausage stuffed peppers and a glass of Cabernet, was $36.00 plus a $10 tip for good and friendly service. This will definably be a repeat on my restaurant visitation schedule.

a diner from Clinton, NY 13323
The food is excellent and imaginative. The setting, with gardens in the rear is quite attractive and the service is efficient and friendly. I travel from upstate New York to meet a friend from Terra Haute at this place, just for the food.
