I have been with my family at TGIF in NYC on 677 Lexington Av on July 20th 2012.
We were tourists in the city. We got very poor service. WE WILL Never visit TGIF AGAIN!!!
First the waitress that took our drink order came to tell us that they have a problem and it will take some time until someone will come to take our food orders!
We should have realized then that something is wrong at this branch; but we stayed and sure enough we waited 30 minutes (!!) until someone came to take our orders. It was Ms ZULA M who comes to take our orders.
It took another 35 minutes (!!) before we got our food and even that only after I complained twice to the manager.
When the food finally came- there was no apology!! On top of it all the steak which we ordered "medium -well" came dry and hard as a rock; or as if it was re-heated 3 times.
We didn't even bother to complain about it as we didn't feel they cared at all about us.
Finally the manager said he will give us a 15% discount for the long wait. Ha ha ..
I thought I should you all of you who are thinking of going to TGIF on 677 Lexington Av know what's waiting for you so you don’t get disappointed.

Finally a fun place in the neighborhood. Loud music and fun bartenders unlike the usual midtown irish bars. Even saw a girl dancing on the bar last week.

I have lived in the neighborhood for years and I'm always pleased with their service. Extremely friendly staff and the food is always consistently good. Pizza is not bad. The buffalo wings are my favorite.

My girlfriends and I meet there every thurs to share a few scorpion bowls. Don't drink too many they are super strong.
