By far the best dining experience we've had south of Portland. A must stop on our way back from Beaver games -- great martinis, excellent filet mignons, Oregon Pinots, and nonstop service. And did I mention it is also the best art gallery in the state! Don't miss this place when you're in Salem.

Alessandro's has become a hip, happy and happening place since changing ownership about three years ago. We dine there at least once a month. Why? One is surrounded by outstanding artwork wherever you sit. The food is consistently good -- especially the filet mignon -- the wine list is excellent, and the service friendly and efficient. Who could ask for anything more!

This is an awesome restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. Good place where couples can go and enjoy a wonderful time. Guests are sorrounded by amazing artwork and nice relaxing live music weekend nights. Service is great with nice servers and hostesses.

The service was really terrible. We waited 30 minutes before the waiter came to take our drink order. It was probably 20 minutes after that until drinks arrived. The waiter apologized repeatedly but the service never improved. Food was above average for Salem.

i can't believe they allow such filth in a beautiful state like oregon. my family was extremely disappointed in the service and quality at the restuarant.

this restaurant is excellent!! the service and the food are wonderful and the live music is probably the best part if you can make it on saturday nights to see the alessandro's quartet, led by salem-area guitarist bill hughes. trombonist keller coker is a regular, and the bassist and drummers vary, but they put on a good show once they get together. the whole atmosphere is very appealing, with the soft lights and pastel colours. this is one place that you can't afford to miss.
