Classic Italian deli known for their subs. They also offer prepackaged sauce and precooked pasta dishes. I do not know why the other review mentioned it's closeness to Naugatuck, as Waterbury is the biggest city in the area and the deli is located in Waterbury.
Prices are very good and the food is fresh and what you expect from a good city Italian deli. Can be busy around lunch and their hours aren't the greatest. Keep in mind this is takeout only, no seating.
Can't say enough about this place, true older mom and pop establishment. Have been going here for over a decade.

Ann's Deli is a nice Mom and Pop not too far from Naugutuck. They have excellent Prices and the food is pretty good too. Where they really shine is service. Quick and tasty, it's a better alternative to "fast food". Nothing really for th kids but kids don't really look forward to trips to the deli anyway.
