While in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area on a Saturday afternoon, my family and I wanted to try the much publicized Old Forge pizza. There are many choices along Main St. and we chose Arcaro & Genell's.
We arrived at the tavern around 4PM. There is both on & off street parking. We were promptly seated and provided with a bean salad and bread appetizer. The red square cut pizza was very good, as was the antipasto salad. The cannolis were extremely good, fresh & large. The food portion size was also good.
Our waitress was very attentive and provided fast and courteous service.
The dining area was very clean. The restroom was somewhat clean but could have been cleaner.
We will definitely return to Acaro & Genell's when in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area.
