About Bay Street Bistro
The building at 834 Bay Street contains over one hundred years of charm: sturdy wooden posts and beams, rustic plaster walls that have watched boardinghouses, hardware stores and bistros roll past over the years. These days they are tastefully painted and are slowly acquiring new local art pieces, while ceiling fans create a soft cooling breeze and lovely atmosphere that invites you to sit and enjoy a slow, relaxing dining experience. Take your seat overlooking Bay Street, or sit in the cozy mezzanine and look out to the water, while we pamper you with exquisite local fare. We strive to bring together great taste and local Northwest products in a relaxed setting. Our location in historic downtown Port Orchard, and proximity to the Port Orchard Farmer's Market inspires us with both traditional Northwest flavors and Italian/Mediterranean influences. We are commited to using local products where possible, and are actively working with local farmers, craftspeople and artists.
