I’m a big reuben fan and also – a Muffuletta fan .. but if truth be known

For 39 years … the Italian Sausage and Ham Cap from Bellas ( with mayo and oil ) is the best

And only sandwich I would travel 100 miles ( or more for )

I started making my nightly trips to Bella's on Lee Highway starting in 1975 while a student at King. I moved away from Bristol in 1983 to attend law school and did not return until last year on my way to Williamsburg from Atlanta. Imagine my surprise to see Bella's still there!!!! After my customary Ham Cap/Italian Sausage brought forth a flood of emotions, I decided that I would have to make arrangements to have these FedEx'd to me in Atlanta about every four months. So far, the kind folks there have indulged my unusual cravings. This place obviously has something unique to have kept it going for forty years!!!! Wow!

I have been dining at Bella's since 1996, and I have found NO OTHER restuarant around that can compare with their pizzas and subs. Their Ham Capp and Italian Sausage sub is awesome and one of a kind. The bread sticks are the best also. Don't miss a chance to drop in if you have never been here.

This is a real good place to eat especially for families, Young children there are high chairs available for them. The greeting from the owner is very warming indeed. As soon as you arrive if eating in you are given a table and assigned your own waitress who will collect drinks etc for you. The food eat as much as you want and the food is of exceptional value very much cheaper than Pizza Hut. The place is very child friendly and so far as i am concerned we have never had any problems with the food their. I have read views about food not warm or the place unclean i cannot understand this. The owner is very meticulous about cleanliness and making sure that you are catered for at all times. We have been back there a number of times now and we all love it there. The atmosphere is nice. I have found that as soon as you are finished all tables are cleaned. I have found that most of the waitresses are usually Polish or other and there is an option for you to leave some kind of tip although this is up to you. Parking could be a problem however usually at weekends you can park behind Bella Pizza in the courtyard behind some shops just of Bridewell although the road leading to Bella and this court yard does have parking meter facilities.I would go there again as this is a real family friendly place.Single people or couples this is also an exceptional place to dine a loved one, and i know that the owners also book parties for children.
