If you are looking for a good place to eat in Fort Worth with a French/Mediterranean flavor, look no further. Bistro Louise is tucked away on the west side of downtown. It is a small place, so call ahead for reservations just in case. The dining is great, and even better are the Sunday Brunches. Louise is the namesake and head chef and she puts out a great buffet for brunch. The appetizers include many pastries, wide variety of cheeses, and fresh fruit that rivals fruit anywhere. The main course usually has many great meats from tenderloin to pecan crusted chicken; in addition to the meats they have fabulous malt waffles and poached eggs on Portobello slices. The desserts are to die for, the truffles are very rich and the pastries are light and wonderful. The buffet always includes much more and often has a few flavor combinations that I wouldn’t normally try, but don’t be afraid to try something new here, I have yet to be let down. I also hear that they have a new menu coming out with special pricing to help make it more affordable in this recession.
I have family in Fort Worth and brunch at Bistro Louise has become a tradition. A must try if you are in the area.

Our place of choice for special occasions or for an impromptu romantic dinner during the week. We love to discover new wines from the ever changing wine list. Thanks.

My husband & I ate at Saint-Emilion for a romantic night out on our trip to Fort Worth. The outside looks like a little French country cottage. The inside, though smaller than anywhere I've ever dined, has an intimate ambience. The staff were very at ...

I've been to all the best restaurants in Fort Worth. I had hoped S-E would be one of those great little "finds." It wasn't. The staff (owner / Mtr'd?) was RUDE. The prices are high for what you get. It was so crowded, hot, & noisy we left.

We've dined at Saint-Emilion three times and each time it has been a wonderful experience. On our most recent visit, we did not go with any specialties but rather we ordered steaks and they were great! The Maitre'd was accomodating and the waitstaf ...
