The setting of Café Old Vienna may look a little unusual as it is centered within a strip mall, but do not let that keep you from trying some of the best authentic Australian cuisine in all of this part of South Carolina. Small, intimate, with a friendly atmosphere and smiling host/hostess you will enjoy the pleasing surroundings as much as the food. The owners of this chic café brought with them to Myrtle Beach S.C. a ton of knowledge and expertise when they took over the business and began serving some of the best food around the area. All of the dishes they produce are of Austrian-German and European decent and food items are presented in some very creative combinations, which you may not be able to find anywhere else close by. Because of their great food, their popularity rings true as you soon see, when at dinnertime the café fills up quickly. Making a reservation is always your best bet to acquire a table in a timely manner at this eating establishment. Whether it is lunch, dinner, or simply dessert time you can feel as if you have stepped into another country while you enjoy the warmth and delicious creations from across the world. Catering to everyone including gluten free individuals, it is worth taking a step off the beaten path and stopping in at Café Old Vienna. Where the location may seem a little off to the side but once you are through the doors you will feel like you’re part of another country’s amazing food cuisine.
Took 4 friends for dinner there just last month while on visit to coast. Food was served hot and was great. Potato pancakes were awesome. Atmosphere is very entertaining as every square inch is covered with memorabilia collected by family for years.
I am of German descent. I was disappointed. Saurbraten & dumplings were so so and luke warm and Lacked Flavor. Tasted the potato pancake, which was made by pre order and it was very good and hot. Dinner portions small for the price. German Beer

Bodos totally rocks. It is strange and unusually German, believe me, but OHMIGOSH the food is utterly fantastic. MAMA, I understand, does most of the cooking for Axel, whom we met. But, it is sheer delish. Try it.
