We have eaten seafood from the North Coast to the South Coast and from the East Coast to the West Coast. We have eaten Calabash seafood in SC and have a marvelous bar in Hudson, IN that we frequent for Alaskan cod that is to die for. We drive from NW Ohio on a regular basis to Battle Creek (70) miles just to eat at Captain Luey's. Of course that's not the only reason we drive that far for seafood but it is ALWAYS the main point of consideration.

Having been born & raised out east *New England*, where seafood is always fresh, always good... We went to eat @ Captain Luey's tonight for a family birthday dinner out.. and were blown away! Our entire party of 10 agreed wholeheartedly that the seafood here was second BEST to New England seafood! MAN!!! Was it ever good!! And the service was amazing!!!!! Our waitress was awesome!!! She went above & beyond even when it got busy, always friendly, smiling, catered to every little thing we needed, promptly refilled our drinks, was very very good with the 4 kids we had in our party as well. It was just a great night, GREAT FOOD, GREAT service!!! A+++++!!

The best seafood this side of the mason dixon line! This is the real deal. Their seafood blows the competition out of the water. Make sure to try the hushpuppies and sweet tea!
