My son and I were in downtown Fort Worth and ww were told about Cabo Grande's all you can eat lunch buffet for just $10, so I thought I give it a shot...
Cabo Grande is The Best Place For Many Events Like; Family Night, Romantic Dinner, Girls Night Etc. Everytime I Crave Mexican Food I ALWAYS Go To Cabo...
My brother-in-law is visiting from New York and we decided to have dinner at Joe-T's. The patio was really nice, perfect weather to have dinner out on...
Cabo Gende had for the longes been my favorite dinner place. I was there this weekend and I must say the worst experience yet. Four bartenders to make...
Very disappointing dining experience. If you like your queso to have any flavor at all, do not order here. The queso was bland & lukewarm. The other food was o.k. but definitely not worth the price. Service was substandard. Our waitress brought one person in our party the wrong dish. Since she wanted to eat with the rest of our group, she accepted it. We weren't offered compensation or even an apology for the mistake. The "on the rocks" margaritas were overly bitter & the frozen margaritas were almost flavorless. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

The first time my husband and I went to this restaurant we enjoyed it with another couple. We had spirit drinks with our meals. The second time we went the waiter would not serve my husband alcohol because his license was bent. (BUT VALID) so we left and went to Risky's. The third time I went to Cardonas it was for a very special occasion. My family had a party of 16. The hostess did not walk the guests to our "party room" the order taking was extremely unorganized. The waiter would come back and ask " any one else need to order" there fore we all got our food at different times. My family is hispanic but we are not all fluent in spanish and we got a waiter who did not speak a lick of English!!!! We had to find one of our guests to ranslate everytime we needed something. When it came time to pay everything was unorgaized and my credit card got charged for the wrong bill!!! (plus my own bill) I will never eat here again.

I really want this place to make it...the food the first time we went was great. Since then however we have gone on 2 separate occasions (several months apart) only to have extremely, horribly slow service. We sat outside on the deck area and the first time we had only nachos and drinks and it took us about 2 hours. We never did get refills on chips/salsa/drinks but had to leave as we only had a sitter for a couple of hours never dreaming it would take so long. The second time we were seated and given chips/salsa but no water or menus. We waited about 15 min. and finally had to get menu's from the hostess (who was standing around talking to some other people that "seemed to work there somewhere"). 15 minutes later still no waiter/waitress or water. Then when we asked the hostess if someone was going to wait on us she went off into the inside of the restaurant and was gone 10 minutes before we finally gave up and left. Hopefully, they have improved since our last visit (last spring/early summer). It was so disappointing since the first visit was very promising with very good salsa/chips and good food (even then the service was a bit slow but I put it down to be so newly opened and the waitress was very pleasant). Anyway, I hope things are better and maybe someday I can convince my husband to try them yet again.
