I was in High Point shopping for furniture and was looking for a good place to eat. I asked around and was pointed in the direction of Carter Brothers BBQ & Ribs. So, upon the reccomendation of several local residents and business men and women, I went to Carter Brothers. I was very well pleased as I walked in the door and was greeted with a big smile, and a nice welcome. As, I looked over their huge menu, I came to order the pork ribs & chopped bbq, with potato salad and green beans. The pork ribs fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. The bbq was so tender and tastey. I have never ate potato salad like this before it was absolutely the best ever. The green beans were just a little bit sweet and perfect for my taste buds. I can't forget to give the banana pudding which is my favorite dessert an overwhelming review because it was the best I have ever eaten!!!! The restaurant was very clean, especially the bathrooms!! The only thing I am regretting is that I do not have time to stay to try their breakfast which has also been highly recommended. If you are so fortunate to have access to this restaurant, I would eat there as often as possible! Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience.

This restaranut is personally one of the worst that i have ever seen or ate at. I have been in the back of the restaurant and i have seen them drop food on the floor and pick it back up. I also have heard of reports where people have seen mexican arm hai in their hushpuppies and they claimed it happened multiple times. I have also personally seen maggots on the wall behind the meat cutter and they were crawling up the wall to where all of the meat was cut. I have also wintessed an employee of carter brothers spit in a persons food after they sent it back twice saying that something was wrong. This restaurant is terrible and it has dropped 8.5 points after one inspection. Please save yourself and never eat at this restaurant!!!

I have to disagree. I actually got food poisoning from the new one opened in Archdale, along with my brother & sister-in-law. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, we tried the location in High Point. The waitresses were too involved with their own conversations to refill our drinks. There was so much clutter in the corner planters, just not the restuarant it was portrayed to be. A man, who I presume to be the owner, came in yelling at the staff about where they were parked. Christian establishment? You decide!

One of the best BBQ places here in the Triad. Their pulled pork is the most tender I've ever had. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. I guess you probably already know that if you drow by the place. It is always packed.
