I have the ambience 3 stars because it's a tiny restaurant with large windows that face the mall's parking lot. But the place is spotless, the service impecable, and the food and value right on. I love their steamed dumplings--the sauce that comes with the order on the side is amazing. The chicken wings are magical. Don't know how they season their breading, but the wings rock here. Huge sellers during the superbowl, in the thousands! Try this place. It's great.

This has got to be one of the best Chinese food in NC! You must be thinking I'm either crazy or don't know good Chinese food when I eat one because this restaurant is in Mebane, NC and it is a little take out joint. I'm originally from Hong Kong so I know what good Chinese food is. What most people don't know about this place is that they have a gem of a chef and their service is very friendly. The chef has been cooking Chinese food in Hong Kong since he was 13 years old. I asked him to make a dish that he had ingredients for and he recommended the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. Don't look for it on their menu because it is not a regular menu item. This dish was out of this world! The chicken was so tender that it melts in your mouth. I also order a Bok Choy vegetables dish and West Lake Soup - both of which was excellent. You need to give this place a try if you are truly looking for some good authentic Chinese food! Tell them Mr. Ling sent you so they will prepare the food with authentic cooking style. Oh, you'll have to go there after 5:30pm because that's when the Hong Kong chef gets there. Enjoy!
