This has been the restaurant of choice for the past couple years but I feel they have been slipping a bit due to their reign as champ in the authentic Chinese restaurant realm. I have dine here twice this week to find the food still very good but not quite what I remember them to be. For instance their ginger lobster seemed a bit off due to the quality of the lobster because the meat was stuck to the shell and the consistency was not crisp but dense and a bit tough in certain parts. Also the Shrimp Rice Pasta (crepe) dish was a bit spongy and not what you would expect with the clear glassy look and the smoothness of the pasta was not so evident. I'm complaining a bit only because of this restaurant's reputation as one of the best. They are still very good and have the best fresh fishball soups in the nation so I wouldn't hesitate to come here but the inconsistencies have brought me back to try Bamboo Garden again and was I pleased I did! Check out my review of
