I Love This Place. I Think That It Is Amazing. The Mashed Potatoes Are My Favorite. And I Take Home A Bottle Of The House Dressing Everytime I Go There. I Grew Up With That Dressing And It's The Only Thing I Will Eat A Salad With. This Place Is Not For Kids Though. It Is Meant For Adults.

We have come here periodically for several years, and have always enjoyed the cozy ambiance and dining experience. The friendly owner greets the guests and seats them, explaining specials they may have. The waiter was excellent; prompt and attentive without being annoying. Salads were crispy and tasty; the bread was a bit fluffy for my taste, but OK with fresh butter. My lamb shank Fresno style was savory and perfectly done, with a mild but tasty tomato and cooked onion sauce. My wife enjoyed her chicken marsala. Vegetables were a bit overcooked. With an excellent creme brule and coffee to finish things off, we really liked this place and will come here again for a special occasion.

We had dinner with another couple to celebrate a birthday and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and ambience of this restaurant. It has the feel of a quaint cottage - even has window boxes with flowers under the outside windows.
All of us enjoyed our meals and the service was very good. My special fish of the evening was very good and vegetables were cooked perfectly. Even the deserts were good and served with a smile.

I can run down to Albertson's and make a better dinner. Completley overpriced and hostess is completely unprofessional. I complained about my filet mignon and she said then i can leave. This place is horrible.

Oh my gosh I love this place. My boyfriend took me for my birthday and first of all I love the no kids policy because I really don't like it when a baby is crying in the background, its just not very romantic. The lamb was to die for. The dressing if delish and the bread is the best. I like that it feels like you are at home. They prices are a little high but the restaurant is not very big wiich gives it that home feeling. I recommend this restaurant very much. by the way I'm 25 and you don't have to be old to appreciate homemade food.

This is a very classy restaurant. Very homey and cozy. It is nice to visit a restuarant that is not all sparkle and Hollywood. We were greeted by the owner with a pleasant smile and who sits you herself. The atmosphere is home-spun, warm and inviting. I had the spinach salad with hot bacon dressing. It was delicious and entertaining because it was a flambe. The lemon tart with raspberry sauce is delightful. We will go back because it is a very quaint dining experience. the husband got the lambshank was suculent and well seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and steamed with seasonings. The bread is fabulous with real butter. It is nice to go to a place that doesn't have kids. It is a quiet place, candlelit and has service with a smile. If you want thin, hot hostesses go to Hooters. i love this place.

I had heard murmurs about the place. It was great. Not a standout place like some big chain. No fancy decorations no huge staff jumping at every move. But a simple place that looks like grandmas. The wife had the rack of lamb and it was perfect. My linguine and clam sauce was better than any around here and as good as I have had even in San Francisco

I had the filet mignon with bacon wrapped around it. GUESS WHAT??? I can buy the same crap at Costco for cheaper. Defeats the whole purpose. And can someone please tell the Ms. Chunky the place MIGHT be more appealing if someone YOUNGER and THINNER were the hostess. It's the perfect restaurant for people over 55 with a discount card.

OK first of all, the food. I ordered the scampi on rice, and my husband had the filet mignon. For the prices they charge, NOT WORTH IT. Why in the world would ANYONE put a piece of pork around a great piece of meat like filet mignon? In my opinion, it defeats the purpose of ordering steak. And the scampi? You can get better shrimp at Costco or Sam's Club; and they added TOO MUCH garlic to it. Makes you wonder just how FRESH their seafood is. Old rule of thumb: if it has a cream sauce or too much flavoring such as garlic, they're hiding something. Next the service. Don't choke in this place, since they're in no rush to refill your drinks. The hefty broad that walks around, aka the hostess, aka the owner, doesn't do anything except monitor what you're eating. Doesn't tell her workers to go get this or that, just walks around. Oh, I forgot, she DOES tell you the special of the day. Ambience. Candlelight, and more candlelight. Nothing spectacular there. Not even worth mentioning. Cleanliness. Silverware was a little dingy, like it wasn't totally rinsed out of the dishwasher. My husband's water glass had something that wouldn't come off of it, so we asked for a new clean glass. Hope they didn't spit in it. Value. THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH for their food. Enough on that subject. Kids Friendly. There were NO KIDS. Not under 45 anyway. Maybe they come after they eat a REAL MEAL at home. We had bananas foster for dessert. Whoopie doo on this banana treat. Nothing great. And then as we left, the table with the skillet that hefty woman cooked in was in the middle of the aisle as we left; drippings and all still on the table cloth cover. Real professional AND appetizing if you ask me. My experience--I don't need to head back anytime soon. Wel I do if I want pork tasting steak.

There was crap in my glass because it wasn't washed. Too much garlic means the shrimp isn't fresh. The menu doesn't have the desserts, wines, or prices listed. Jack in the Box is better than this place.

Hey this place is for you if you're like 60-90. My grandmother's living room isn't this gaudy, and if I want potatoes out of a box, I'd buy Mr. Potato Head. They don't even have cloth over the tables, they're covered in that old fashioned vinyl wipe clean cover. This restaurant definitely SUCKS. They don't ask for ID for senior citizens, cause they already know you qualify. Again, this restaurant SUCKS.

I knew when I walked in the place I was in for a real treat. Fake flowers everywhere, flowered wallpaper on every wall, and cushioned seats to match all of the above. No boothes, only tables and chairs (which numb you from the waist down if you're there too long). The real trick here is to be able to order anything, since the only lighting they give you is a candle on your table. (The lighting came on AFTER we had dessert). The salad was limp and had no taste. They give you a choice of two dressings; blue cheese and house (creamy Italian). Paul Newman's is better. After scouring the menu of 19 items,(the filet mignon was $23.95 and it appeared to come from Costco steak in a box, since it had that bacon wrap around the meat). I settled on the pot roast,(not too original, but at least it was a safe bet, or so I thought); and to say it was overcooked was an understatement. Too soft, limp, and no taste. The potatoes tasted like those out of a box; and if I wanted carrots and cauliflower, I'd buy it at the store for $0.49/lb. The only good thing there are the desserts, they have somewhat of a decent taste and there is some originality to them. You can bet I don't need to visit anytime soon since the average age of their customers is 62. Not a great place to take a first time date. But if you desire a place with no children, this is the place for you. Oh by the way, they're closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and are open ONLY for dinner.

Wonderful dining experience! Everything that is served in this restaurant is made in their kitchen. We had a very nice salad, spinach watercress soup that was one of the best I have ever eaten. Our entre was the lamb shank with sourcreme dill sauce that was perfect, and cherries jubilee for dessert. We will be back!

The interior of Creolas is decorated like a grandmothers living room. Floral wallpaper, floral carpet and tons of fake plants. The service was great so my husband and I were optimistic. Then we actually got the food. Our salads were obviously the bag-o-salad you find in any local grocery store. My husband was served fake crab (or Krab) without prior warning. I was served vegetables that were obviously the same type of frozen vegetables that my mom buys, you know.. the broccoli, colliflower and carrot blend. The mashed potatoes were the most insulting though. POTATO FLAKES!!! That's right.. not real potatoes.. but the freeze dried variety. For food that could have been purchased at the grocery store for a few bucks.. I was very angry to be paying what i would for fine food. Do NOT visit Creolas unless you would like to have your taste buds insulted.
