This place is like our go to place for our family ice cream treats on the weekend. We've gotten to know the lady that runs the place and she is very polite and always treats us well. I notice that she runs it alone with the help of her family and that she is a really hard worker as we always see her there.

I have had the absolute worst experience at this Dairy Queen franchise location. The service was terrible. Upon purchasing my sundae, I was picking up a napkin off the floor and when I got up I accidentally moved my purse and dropped my BRAND NEW sundae on the ground. The so-called "owner" of this franchise location saw ALL OF THIS and proceeded to walk to the back of the store as if she had seen nothing. So after I did her the favor of cleaning up my mess from the floor, which is not my job to do, I kindly asked her if I could have another sundae. She replied in a rude, careless tone "No! You paid, and you dropped it, not me, so you need to buy another one!" I was also completely mortified because she had embarrassed me in front of the other handful of customers in the store!

Then it occurred to me, when I walk into any chain or business, I have a certain expectation for the service and if something like that were to happen elsewhere, especially purchasing a three dollar ice cream sundae, that through good customer service, to satisfy me (the customer), and to keep me coming back, they would do the right thing and replace it for me.

She neither replaced my sundae or gave me my money back.

Because of my horrendous experience in this store I will NEVER return to this store or ANY Dairy Queen ever again. I will make sure to tell all of my friends and family, and everyone I know at my LARGE PUBLIC UNIVERSITY nearby to go elsewhere, like Carvel, Baskin Robbins or Coldstone where they really know how to treat a customer!
