I have not had the same experiences the other diners did. This family restaurant has been open since the 1970's. The basement location is kind of odd, however I'm sure that is how they keep their menu prices down by being in the lower rent zone. I have been going here with my family for 20+ years, at their previous location and its current & every time we leave satisfied. They still honor old BYOB policy dating back to when they did not have a liquor license, although they do now sell liquor. This is a family place with family prices. Its not gourmet, just really good everyday food. Love their salads - especially spinach and mushroom salad. The portions are large. The service is average to good, what you'd expect for a mom and pop place.

for many years this strange place has seemingly done well. and i cannot understand why. the food is quite terrible the pasta is too soft and chewy the sauces are bland and tasteless. the service or lack thereof is terrible. the owner who is not italian nor are any of his employees. the so called ambiance is locker room at best. this is truely a lousy place pass it up!

Italian
Absolutely terrible.
Italian
Best Italian food in the burbs. We only like Spaggio cafe as well as place. You will not believe how good the meatballs are! The octopus was tender. The service is relaxed and good. Wish italian food in Italy was this good!
