I'm not sure that the previous reviewer is talking about the same exact Denny's because this one has been here for atleast as long as I've lived in NC which is 6 years and they claim to have gone to the grand opening in 2007? Anyhow, Denny's is Denny's right? Well, not this time surprisingly enough. I am in the last few weeks of pregnancy and I was craving french toast for dinner. I didn't have the energy to make it for myself so I though about Denny's. I honestly haven't been in a really long time because they do more often than not, leave you with much to be desired. But, honestly, today we (my family of 5) had great service and good food. The manager named Marco was especially professional and courteous. My husband went to pick up the order I had placed by phone and when he got there, Marco apologized for not having one item that was ordered. My husband made a different choice and Marco ended up taking that off the bill. Even before that happened, I could tell on the telephone that Marco was a man who wanted to please the customer and was refreshingly attentive to the way he represented the company he worked for.In fact, when I called to place the order, I didn't even know what was on the menu besides the french toast I wanted and he eagerly told me several sections of the menu so could pick out the rest of the family's dinner. How often does that happen? Even though I hadn't given Denny's a second thought for years, my whole family mentioned at dinner that we should go there again soon for breakfast and give this place our business. I would suggest you do too.
We went to the second day of the "Grand opening" because it was my mom or dads birthday, I can't remember which. When we got there they were out of the things we ordered. Then the waiter brought the drinks over and they spilled them on my mom! They cleaned the table but not the floor and didn't give us a refill. As far as I am concerned, we won't eat there again.
What a delightful place to enjoy a delicious steak dinner to celebrate a big birthday. 5 stars all the way. We will return even if it isn't a birthday celebration. Hugs
We have been looking for a good place to eat since moving to Kernersville and have been disappointed in the options here, until we ate at Cagney's tonight. The food was great - I was really impressed with the quality and freshness of the ingredients
...
Sometimes you don't appreciate an all around great restaurant like Outwest when you live near by. My wife and I really miss this place and wish you could eat there again but we have moved away.
Olympic is a fine restaurant. The entire staff are very friendly. The service is excellent. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is pretty good.
Absolutely, Handsdown, THE WORST place in Kernersville to eat! Will Never go back! Food was fair at best. Service was non-existent, and when I complained it was like I had no clue what service was about.
