Service and Food have gone downhill since the owner died. They even over charged my visa, obviously my family and I won't be coming here anymore. Don't eat here unless you want to donate money...!!!

While on my vacation, I visited Dominics. I feel that the food and service atmosphere were very extraordinary. I would highly recommed it to everyone! I plan on visiting Dominics again on my next vacation.

The food is what passed for Italian food in the 1950's in this country: heavy red sauced pasta thrown at the diner with screeches of "everythin' goin'OK here, need anythin'else?" masquerading for service. The lasagna looked like a flattened out flame ...

The Oakwood Club has been around forever. I lived in the Centerville area and my parents just always loved this establishment. I moved away to the Bellefontaine area and during the time of my birthday I am always wanting a good steak, what always com ...

The atmosphere is very quaint and close to some of the restaurants we visited in Italy (and "little Italy" in NYC) The service was great too. We didn't really have to wait to have our drinks refilled, yet the waitress wasn't hovering. We went arou ...

Excellent italian cuisine, and the lasagna and house dressing is to die for. To the "reviewer" who suggested Dayton's Bravos as better than Momma Disalvos... Puhlease.. Bravos here has some of the most bland italian food around. Perhaps Fazolis is in ...

If possible I wouldn't give the Oakwood Club any stars. Our experience there was the second worst experience I have ever had at a restuarant. We made reservations for March 14, 2009 for a party of six. The reservations were made more than 4 days in a ...

Last nite (Sept. 8) we made our annual trek to Dominics. I have patronized Dominics for at least 40 years (or more) - we moved to Florida 25 years ato but still return to Dayton for the family reunion every year. It has become a tradition to go to Dominics at least once while we're here. Last nite was the nite---there were 8 of us in our party and to put it bluntly - it was fantastic! The food was great (as usual, the service was great, an all-around wonderful evening. Will see you again next year! George and Karen P.S. My only gripe - I wish you would bottle that great garlic dressing to take back to Sarasota, Florida.

First time back in 10 years and I guess the food and resturant stood still. Server was rude, food was cold, stale and tasted microwaved. I asked for the sauce on the side and got sauce on the food 2 times. I finally gave up since I had to be back to work. I had to ask for drink refills and extra napkins several times. Other diners in my party felt the same way. One diner asked for her money back and was told no since he already ate 3 bites of food. Portions were skimpy and the taste reminded me of hospital food. How sad.
What happend to this resturant?

First time we had been back in years, we should have stayed away. We went for lunch during a weekday afternoon. The food was bland, not even fresh. Server was rude and we had to ask for drink refills. When we paid our bill and told the cashier about the negative changes we eperienced, she could not be bothered that our experience was poor. I would not recommend this resturant to anyone and will not be dinning there again.

Went to eat on Feb the 14th. Waited one hr and a half to get in, which is ok, beacuse it was valentines day. We ordered a beverage, and the waiter poured it and dropped the bottle, and a fourth of it ran on the table, and broke my bread plate in the process. He did not offer to replace the drink, or the bread plate, nor did he entirely clean up the broken glass. My food was satisfactory, but my husbands shrimp was comparable to Sea Pak.

This used to be the absolute best Italian restaurant around. We drive from Middletown, Ohio and everyone would be "yeh, lets go to Dominics." Excited!! The last two times we went( last Friday Jan 30. 2004,for a Birthday Celebration of 14 adults) and previously in December 2003, the food was cold when it got to our table. No more gooey steaming Lasagna with hot stringy cheese that my husband loves. Mushy eggplant parmesian. I even had to ask the waitress to take it back and heat it up. At the birthday party, several of us had our food reheated ( which meant microwave, I'm sure) We wouldn't even take the doggy bags home. Please, Dominics if you're going something different in prep stop it. We love the flavor and would hate to stop eating there. I've heard this same report from several people. One group I spoke with states, they'll give Dominics one more chance and if they continue to get bad food, they will go somewhere else also. Many people from Middletown make the trek to Dominics. Fix whats wrong and let's get back to the old Dominics. Garlic Garlic Garlic. I was going to write a letter to the owners but decided to look for a website to email my complaint.
