We made reservations at this restaurant and took my husbands clients with us. When we got there the gentleman that greeted us told us that they had not opened the kitchen yet. I told him we had reservations and he looked at me like I had a third eye. Then another gentleman came up and said that he had taken the resevation but did not get my phone number but they could cook up some appetizers. What a joke. How embarrasing for us. Now where do you go at 8:00pm at night. We ventured to Woodfire Grill. The wait was 45 min. We stayed. Only waited about 20 minutes and had a great experience there. Will not venture back to Echelon.

My wife and I ordered three appetizers with two other groups of two in the restaurant. There were at least three chefs and two waiters. One hour later we received two of the three appetizers. The hot wings were cold. The red pepper dip looked like it was over cooked. Ten minutes later we finally received our third appetizer. The sampler had burnt crab cakes. One of the other two groups left after their salad and about an hour without receiving dinner. This is truly a poor choice in a town that holds many great eateries.
too bad the bartender (ryan) was the downfall of our experience. this place has so much going for it and to have a bartender that is on his cellphone, busy flirting with the college girls and didn't take our menus or our old plates away was just rude
...
Excellent food and friendly people! Try the homemade specialties: alfredo sauce, soups, and salad dressings ... they are great! Very reasonably priced, too.
