Very good food, and, excellent service still make Eddie Martini's a very good resrtaurant in Milwaukee. The rib eye, and, halibut were excellent.

Went on a Saturday night, couldn't get in any sooner than 9:00 PM. The wood paneled and mirrored bar served large drinks -although a bit pricey. They advertised themselves as a cigar bar, though none were available -bring your own cigars. Was seated at a table for two in the restaurant within 20mins (had reservations). For appetizers, ordered mussels and the Seafood combo platter. The portions were HUGE -big enough for complete entrees themselves. I had EIGHTEEN mussels in a delicious sauce. The combo platter consisted of Shrimp, Crab Legs, mini- Lobster tails, Oysters, Octopus Salad, and Seaweed Salad -all FRESH and DELICIOUS. For Dinner, had the Porterhouse Steak (at least 24oz) and a Veal Porterhouse Steak. Both were done to perfection (could only eat half-portions between us) -too much food! A bottle of Red Wine accompanied dinner, and desert followed. We split a Chocolate (decadent) four-layered dessert -too difficult to describe other than very rich. It will satisfy the most demanding sweet-tooth! The Service was extremely attentive, we had three staff members to assist us. The Bill came to approximately $200, including everything. I left completely satisfied, and plan on returning again. And I am willing to pay even more for this same dining experience!
BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THE FOOD PORTIONS HAVE SHRUNK CONSIDERABLY. GREAT ENTERTAINMENT BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY RAISED THE MENU PRICES AND GIVE YOU SMALLER PORTIONS TO COMPENSATE FOR PAYING FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT WHICH IS NOT FAIR

I first went to Butch's about 14 years ago and still go to this day. I absolutely love the food and the cozy ambience this place provides. It might not be the most classy or up-to-date place but the service is outstanding and the steaks are great!
