When I walk into the Elm Diner It's like walking into the home of a family member. The owner's John & wife are right there to say hello. But it doesn't stop there. They both are always walking around making sure everything is to your liking and if not it's corrected at once. As for the food I thinks it is outstanding. I've eaten at the 3 major diner's in West Haven and I still find the Elm to be the best. It's not just the food that makes a good restuarant it's the people & the service. At the Elm Diner you eat both.
