Detroit Restaurant Guide

I have been told that there are other good resturants in Detroit and I am sure that this might be so; however, for approximately 3-4 years, I can't get enough of Fish Bone. For everything special, Birthdays, Mother's Day, just want to get a way day, my choice is to head up to Detroit, especially on Sunday. It is a real treat for me. My bithday is 7/11/09 hopefully I can make it to Detroit and sup at the Fishbone. My family and I drive up from Toledo, Ohio

The BEST!

Visited resturant on 4/21/07. Treated very very poorly by bartender (Cherry). Never recieved the food I ordered. Ended up telling Cherry to cancel the order because I was tired of waiting. All it was was a serving of cheese cake. Almost to the end of my glass of water when I noticed an orange white film on the inside of my glass, making it very apparent that it had never been cleaned. My husband asked to see the manager at that point. Cherry went to get him and returned, walking over to her friends seated to the right of me at the bar who had been receiving free drinks all night. She continued to talk so that I could clearly hear her, "I don't care what they have to say, and neither will my manager." The manager arrived twenty minutes later, (Tom), he did act as if it was no big deal, "Sorry sir sometimes we make mistakes, I mean what do you want me to do about this." I have filed a complaint with the Detroit Sanitary Division and am thus far happy I am not sick, (Hep C, Food sickness, etc.) Please beware, this resturant is way overrated. They have forgotten all about what really matters, (the customer). The staff is arrogant and they expect their customers to basically eat off of the floor and be happy with it. Well I'm not!

Best food in downtown Detroit. High volume, high energy. Sushi added to menu is first-rate.
Local bands play in the atrium on Thursday, Friday, Saturday which is free.
