I did not dine there but got an order to go. It was over priced and, quite frankly, not that good.
When my wife called in the order (chicken chow mein and beef fried rice), she asked to have the pan fried noodles on the side (for an extra dollar, the menu says you can have noodles with the chow mein). Somehow that request cost us $6 more. The chow mein was mostly celery with a few little pieces of chicken. The fried rice was undercooked and had very little beef. Overall a bad experience and they will not get our business again (we've gone to their old location quite often in the past).
I have been enjoying food at the Forbidden City in Puyallup since 1986. Their food has set the bar for me and no other Chinese Restaurant can come close to comparing. My all time favorite is their Pork Fried Rice. Cashew Chicken is not too far behind also to include sweet & sour pork and their fried shrimp. Service tends to be on the slow side but I promise it is well worth your wait!

a diner from Puyallup, WA
Their food is very good, and there is a lot for the price... However, their service is quite slow everytime we have been there. If you aren't in a hurry it is worth it because the food is very good.
