The Green Gateau is one of my favorites in Lincoln. We have never had a bad experience and have enjoyed every meal. The parmesean crust served with the "not your usual garden salad" is fabulous. I wish they sold those by the pound!

The atmosphere is unlike any other. Very homey and very charming. The meals are always unique (Try the nightly specials...everytime I've had them they have been perfect!) The flavors of their meals are excellent. Just enough seasonings to make you say "wow, what is that?!". We usually are too full to get desert, but the tray always looks wonderful. My wife has eaten their breakfasts, (and loved it) but unfortunately I haven't been able to...YET!

Green Gateau has been around a long time and I'm surprised there are still a lot of people who have never heard of it. You really should try it...you won't be disappointed. Boycott the chain restaurants! There are just too many good, home-owned ones in town worth trying!

We took our son and his wife to Billy's for his birthday dinner. The kids always get to pick where they eat on their birthday and he wanted to go someplace he had not been before. I must say we all had a blast, the food was excellent, even tailored ...
