Been coming to Savannah for years and always enjoyed the ambience and antebellum trappings of the Gryphon Tea Room. Unfortunately the art crowd (I myself am an artist) convinced the management of the Gryphon to mix modern concepts and the tastefull furnishings of the Gryphon and succeded in ruinning the decor. Orange chairs and a goofy plexiglass collar clash with the period apperance of an old appothecary. Gone is the air of genteel sophistication that was the Gryphon we used to enjoy. Change it back the way it was. Tell the kids to go see what they can get away with at some warehouse. Keep the charm that is Savannah and spare us the eclectic 'modern' look.
Ronnie's- I completely love this restaurant 100%
