Owned and operated by two "off the boaters, " Garrett Diamond afrom Country Meath and Conor Kelly from Skeries in Country Dublin, Halsted Harap offers food and 13 draft beers along with full beer and bottle selection. The newly refurbished bar boasts woood paneling around the room with a number of booths to get that Irish "snug feling," complemented by cream walls along with five plasma televisions to keep everyone up to date with both US Sports and Premiership Soccer. Currently the bar is serving food seven days a week, with Brunch being offered on the weekends. The menu comprises of some Irish staples, such as fish and chips, Bangers and Mash and an all day Irish Breakfast, w ith a mix of standard US pub grub dishes. Garrett or Conor are always on hand to ensure everyone gets a warm welcome at Halsted Harp, and they hope to grow the business to Lincoln Parks' premier authentic Irish Bar.
