Very nice and inexpensive

I wanted to try this restaurant for a very long time. Tonight we took the short drive to Hartford just to check it out. This is a really nice little place! We weren't given menus, and assumed there was only a choice of sirloin, filet mignon or prime rib. We ordered the 9 oz. filet thinking it would come with a baked potato. The waitress didn't give us a choice. It came with a small spoon of garlic mashed potatoes. I asked for my filet to be medium. It was totally brown inside and out. I hate bacon on the outside of this cut of meat. It was slightly warm, and it looked really different. I consider myself a beef conisuer, being raised on a beef farm with all our own yummy steaks. The price was right, so that's all I can say! BUT, please serve REAL BUTTER with your french bread!

The Hartford Steak Company has a great value of food, and the prices that NO ONE can beat! Now days you can barely go to a fast food restaurant and get a large meal for under six dollars! The dinner is exceptional, and the service is always great and welcoming.

The Hartford Steak Company has a great value of food, and the prices that NO ONE can beat! Now days you can barely go to a fast food restaurant and get a large meal for under six dollars! The dinner is exceptional, and the service is always great and welcoming.

We enjoy dining in at the Hartford Steakhouse. Our steaks are grilled to perfection. Our meat is also complimented with a wedge salad, loaded baked potato, and french bread with butter. We know there are no restaurants around here that could offer a full plate of exceptional food for these prices. Monday-Thursday 6oz Filet for $6.95 WOW! (larger sizes available) Friday and Saturday they offer Prime Rib, starting at 8oz for $9.95 as well as a Roasted Sirlion starting at $7.95(but hurry in for the roast, it goes too quickly) Sunday is Sirlion Sunday, you can not go wrong with a sirlion steak! We love it and YOU will too!
