Henry James is the BBQ Grandpappy in High Point. I've noticed that a couple of BBQ restaurants that have popped up in the area are from former employees of Henry James. Their BBQ is OK, but they haven't quite perfected it like Henry James. Plus, Henry James family of employees are just good folks! Henry James caters to the whole family; they even have a coloring menu/place mat for the kids to keep busy with while the grown-ups are talking.

We were really impressed with the fact that the cook came out and said hello. The food was good, service was good :) And the hush puppies the best we ever had :) We had a great experience !!
