With the success of J/R's The Original Place For Ribs on 62nd Street, it only stood to reason that expansion would follow, and so it did. This, the second location of J/R's, as it is most commonly known, also ushered in the need for the commissary, a full service food processing, bulk sales, and distribution center, directly next door. The highly expanded menu prompted a name change to now, J/R's The Place For Ribs, Seafood & Steaks. J/R's has been serving up highly quality barbeque, ribs, and other American classics for over 30 years. We use only the freshest ingredients, seafood, and choice cuts of meats and produce in our made fresh to order dishes. Recent renovations to this location include an Atrium for not quite outside dining, but still very romantic, and a highly coveted bar / lounge area, with TVs for your dining pleasure and a game room for the young and young at heart. Perfect for a family outing, gathering of friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just a night out by yourself, we provide all your favorite drinks, and can accommodate any size party. Open seasonally from March through October for full service, we are open on a limited schedule from October thru November. We are closed from December to March.
