The bread was terrible, the lettuce wilted, and the rest was sparse and uninspiring. For a place that seems to take thinking it is the greatest thing since sliced bread to an almost snooty level, it barely compared favorably with Subway.
My advice: skip it and go to West Street Deli which is far, far, better.

jimmy johns is for sure the best fast food establishment on the face of the earth. i see some people complaining about some things. but at every JJs ive been to, a cup of water has been free. and so what if the cheese or extra avocado is 50 cents, its 2 quarters and its not like its for garbage products. you cant even compare this place to subway, their food is way higher quality, plus its so fast and they treat customers like gold at every location ive been. For a delicious 8 inch sandwich theres no other place to go. and as for the drivers, im sure they put up with more garbage from bad drivers all day than you can imagine, so give em a break. they're fast.

I just want to mention to the person below that said they wanted a turkey tom with no lettuce or tomato or whatever they could have gotten the "slim #4" and payed a dollar less and gotten what they wanted.

can you get avocado spread at subway? sprouts at subway? didn't think so. those two alone make it worth it!! all the restaurants are a great atmosphere and if you really want to complain about paying an extra 50 cents for some cheese... i mean cmon now, it's a step up from typical fast food for a huge sub!! (8 inches)
Good subs, friendly people, super fast delevery. I give it an A.

I bought a sub and also a soda. My fiance wanted a water. I noticed there was a water dispensor on the soda machine. Jimmy Johns said they only sold bottled water. I pointed out that there was a water dispensor on the soda machine. I then said I would pay for the cup to get the water (thinking a quarter or something.) No, Jimmy Johns wanted to charge me the price for a soda. What a cheap establishment that tries to pawn themselves off as something other than another money hungry corporate store. I will never eat there again. I mean you can get an extra cup free at Subway, and there a huge corporation. Word of advice, boycott Jimmy Johns
A Jimmy Johns driver in Milwaukee almost killed me when he ran through a red light. Neither the manager nor the corporate office seemed to care when I told them. I'll never set foot in a Jimmy Johns again.

Love The Subs, But It is so frustrating that they make you pay extra for Cheese and Water. I always get the Turkey Tom, but I dont want the tomatos, sprouts or mayo. All I ask for is a little cheese, and they cant just put it on there. Ya'd think that If Im saving them the money on the 3 things I dont get on there, they would be nice, but no, they are not. Therefore I am boycotting Jimmy Johns forever.
