The dinner menu features the rich diversity of regional cuisines in Mexico, from the classic tacos, quesadillas and sopes, to complex dishes with different types of moles, cochinita pibil, fish empanadas or seasonal delicacies like chiles en nogada.

Everything, including salsas and tortillas, is made from scratch, with many ingredients imported from Mexico to capture the flavors that characterize each dish.

The hope of La Calaca's chef and owner, Patricia Cabrera, is to contribute to a wider understanding of the rich culinary heritage of Mexico. Enjoy!

Patricia's love of history, art and traditional cuisine comes from her frequent trips to Mexico, where she researches the local gastronomy and its cultural influences. All this is represented in the many posters and prints that decorate the brightly colored walls of the restaurant. Some of the furniture and crafts are Patricia's own art creations.
