Stuart Restaurant Guide

Welcome to La Forchetta! Since 1972 our family has owned and operated several restaurants. We have been local residents since 2000, when we moved from where we grew up in New Jersey. There, our parents owned a local restaurant, and after several years, they decided that they were going to follow their dreams and "semi-retire" to South Florida. This left mis sister and me wondering if it was time for our own business. Since we were raised among the hustle and bustle of a chef's kitchen and the clatter and clank of pots and pans, we just knew it was our turn to do what we were born to do! Therefore, this is our opportunity to start our own restaurant. After all, we know all the recipes.

We use the freshest ingredients, and most are imported from Italy. One of my mom's pet peeves is the extra virgin olive oil. She says, "The oil is what makes the food sing in your mouth". All of our dishes are prepared to order so we ask you for your patience. Our chef will be happy to accommodate any dietary restriction you may have.

So we ask you to come and join us. We guarantee that you will feel like you are at one of those off-the-beaten-path restaurants in Italy. Just like a treasured sign in my parent's restaurant stated, "Come as strangers, leave as friends".
