Searching for good tasting, reasonably priced, and a great atmosphere for seafood? Check out the Lighthouse Restaurant in Fort Smith, AR. Sitting on the banks of the Arkansas River gives you a great view and the food compliments the view. Starting with the great Gumbo and hot biscuits right up through the shrimp, catch of the day, catfish or even a great Ribeye you will enjoy the experience. We continue to enjoy the hospitality and the food time after time.

We had my wife's 50th birthday dinner here in early July. We called the day before to make reservations and was told they would love to have us! We arrived on time, got a nice table...then the trouble began. Our waitress got almost every order (there were 7 of us) wrong. My mom didn't get her meal served until most of us had nearly finished. The salad was limp and old...just lettuce (with brown spots) and one tomato wedge. The fried foods tasted like they used old grease and most of it was cold, except the portions of our dinners that were left off and had to be brought out later. The manager came over to assist the fiasco the waitress had created, but it was too little too late. For one of the most expensive restaurants in town, they served food like we were at a homeless shelter. We expressed our unhappiness at the time and was given nothing but a "sorry 'bout that". It is a great place to see and walk around, but don't sit down and order anything or you will be very disappointed.
