a diner from Long Valley
Out to dinner w/friends on 01-30-09.

Price: $65 per couple, 2 drinks each, no appetizers for the 2 guys, 1 appetizer split between the wives, no soup or salad included with the price of dinner (only bread that came straight from the fridge ice cold), no desserts, 2 expressos, oh yeah and we had a $25 off coupon

Food:
1)sea scallops over rissoto cabonaro
the sea scallops were the smallest I have ever seen, I would have been embarrassed to serve them The rice should have had flavors of pancetta and onion, it was completely devoid of any flavor at all. I was shaking the salt shaker and pepper till it had some flavor. It was .25 cents of rice and $2.00 worth of scallops. A JOKE

2) papardelli topped with shrimp
devoid of any flavor. This was my wives dish & she asked me to try it because she thought maybe it was just her, NOT

3) broccolli rabe
very disappointing, way over cooked!! That was extra $ too

4) lobster
served fancy, the problem was they forgot the lobster

I do NOT recommend this place. Don't waste your time/$$! If you do though, stay away from the above dishes!

Great food, great place, great owner. Even though there is no children's menu, they were very accommodating to my two children (3 and 8). We go there as much as we can because the value is so wonderful - great food at a great price! Highly recommend!

We first went here for our anniversary after someone gave us a Resturant.com certificate and now we try to go at least 4 times a year to celebrate birthdays holidays and anniversary. Great food and beautiful place. Garry Del Greco
