Amazing food! The Maple was recomended to me by a friend that grew up on Maplewood Ave. All he did was rave on and on about the hot beef sandwich and gravy. I drove 4.5 hours just to see if he was correct....HE WAS! Worth the trip from almost any distance. I make the trip at least 4 times yearly.
Maple's has the best Hot Beef Sandwiches around. The whole menu is worth trying! Great portions! If you go away hungry, shame on you! Great family style atmosphere! Nonsmoking and remodeled this past year. If you haven't been there in a while, it's worth the trip!

The Maple is a great family owned and run place. The food is simple, hot, good quality, with very large portions for a really low price. Their hot beef and hot turkey sandwiches are the best I have ever eaten. The waitresses are fast and pleasant and full time. The patrons are local down to earth folks. It is always jammed at mealtimes, a good sign. You can't go wrong at a place whose owner's license plate is "Mr. Gravy" Incredible value and a real slice of small town America at its best.

THE place for hot roast beef sandwiches. Very good food, and you get a lot for your money. But the restaurant is small and can be terribly crowded, with parking at a minimum or non-existent. Smoking is permitted, and the restaurant is too small to properly separate smoking from non-smoking, so the entire place can stink depending on the crowd, with sometimes only the farthest away tables seeming to have clean air. Plus, non-smokers have to walk through the smoking area to get in and out. They recently started taking plastic for payment, after accepting only cash, so that's a plus. Carry out service is quick.
