The food had okay flavor but was not cooked properly. My Teriyaki Salmon was over cooked by a long shot as it was tough. The edges were down right hard. Definitely a no no for cooking fish. Prices are on par with Japanese restaurants... meaning you will pay higher prices for comparable meals in other restaurants. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was the Korean Bulgogi dish I had last time was okay. If Chapel Hill had more competition then this place would probably get demoted to a two stars review.
The spice street platter app was pretty good. The ahi tuna with mango chutney was lackluster at best. the bouillabaisse was awesome. But sadly, the Berry Compote dessert was terrible! totally used frozen fruit not fresh and they didn't sweeten it eno

The food is good but the service is hit and miss. Unfortunately they miss more than hits. There is just too many other in the Chapel Hill area to come back anytime soon.
great service. fabulous berry nepolean dessert and cappochino. we only had dessert and coffee this time but we will be back. everything looked so good and authentic.
This little joint is a great place to get a quick sushi fix on a small budget. Nothing fancy but friendly and tasty. We ordered udon soup and vegetable tempura. Both were fresh and fast.
