This was truly an entertaining dining experience. My Sweetie and I waited about 15 minutes to be seated in a nearly empty dining room. We ordered the bottomless soup and salad...and it was a bottomless pit of iceberg lettuce, mushy tomatoes, and vinegary dressing. You know how the commercial makes this place seem like something nestled deep in the heart of the italian family? It was deep in something, but it has little to do with Italy. Truly underwhelming. When we asked our server about some soup ingredients he informed us that he could not answer our question because the soup is sent from the corporate headquarters in a plastic bag to be warmed over by a teenage chef-boy. I can say that we had an excellent time making fun of ourselves for taking a public pool swim in a city of Barton Springs.

This place rocks! It's suitable for big parties or intimate dinners. The owner and staff members are warm, friendly and treat the guests like welcomed neighbors. Along with the food, the wine and dessert menu are to die for!
