Popeyes Broccoli & Cheese Soup is awesome! I specifically go to Lake Geneva to have their soup. They are pricey and i agree about the refills they should be free or at least limited to two.

The food was good. The waiter was nice. But charging for refills is ridiculous. Perhaps they can limit the refills to 2 or something.

My first soda was filled with half ice. I ordered a second one with NO ice, but the waiter brought it with ice. She realized her mistake and asked if I wanted her to take the drink back. I said no, that is okay since I was almost done with my meal.

When I got the bill, I saw I was changed for 2 drinks - over $3.

Everyone who comes to Lake Geneva gets here sooner or later. It is always crowded in the summer because it is the largest and best moderate priced place in town. Service can be spotty because of the turnover in personnel but management is very responsive to comments. Excellent for kids. In off season they attract the locals with excellent daily specials and mail out coupons.

The food was fine, but the service was extremely slow. This resturant is a huge rip off. I had fajitas and my wife had a burger. She drank water (free) and I had a lemondaide. There are no free refills on soda. Have you ever been to a resturant that charges for refills? The fajitas came on a plate so small there was no place to fill the fajita except on top of the ingredients. I have been going to popeyes for over 10 years and they have clearly gone over the top with the greed factor. The resturant is extremely loud as well and the value was terrible. The total was $38. So two sandwhiches and one drink for almost $40. No thanks.

Popeyes' is very hard to get into in the summer....but there isn't a better place to eat after the tourist season!! Their chicken cooked outside over the coals is the best I've ever had. Friday night fish fry is terrific! You simply have to try this restaurant!

The server we had was slow and took forever to locate. When we first sat down took quite a while for our server to show up.

Chili was served luke warm. Salads were good. Apple pie was different but in a good way.

The location is great and because of that we should have known better. We took the advice of friends, who thought we were interested in doing typical tourist stuff. I normally find better restaurants without advice.
