It was a simple desire to do something special in the restaurant business and a college experience that brought our founder to open the first "Hamburgers by Gourmet" on Westheimer in 1965. This drive-thru and an open air patio ultimately grew into a regional chain. The char-grilled steak burgers, with 13 varieties, was a huge success. He ultimately sold the company to pursue other ventures. This is the history of the steak burgers created for PubHub.
Centuries ago, only the finest pizzas were baked in a brick oven, on a terra cotta stone. We combine this century old Italian tradition with new world technology to create the world's finest, fresh Napoletana pizzas. The pizza we emulate is that of Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. Pepe originated the thin-crust pizza in the U.S. which he baked in a coal-fired brick oven in New Haven, Connecticut.
We feature a full-service bar and offer a wide selection of major domestic, imported and specialty beers. At PubHub, from classic lagers to more obscure ales and stouts, including rare craft beers, there's a draft beer for everyone. With over 60 beers on tap and well over 101 total, Pub Hub emphasizes a high energy environment with satellite and cable coverage of a variety of sporting events. The menu includes an impressive selection of appetizers, pizza, wings, steak burgers and chopped salads. Late-night dining is available and the restaurant can accommodate groups for large parties.
