This is the last of the true neighborhood restaurants. They have a patio in the summer and an oldies jukebox year round. My wife and I went there and had the best time. After dinner, we went into the bar and met the " regulars ". We also met the owner, who entertained us with non-stop humor. He was worth the evening in itself. He should do stand-up. The place is low-key, yet efficient. The staff wanted us to enjoy ourselves, which we did. We are from Vermont, but whenever we come to Washington, we will definitely come to the Quarterdeck.
