We know the secret to great seafood is quality and freshness. That's why we've insisted on the finest seafood the sea has to offer since we opened our first restaurant in 1968. Since then, lots of things have changed. But one thing hasn't – our relentless pursuit of quality and, above all, freshness

Our recent visit at Red Lobster wasn't the greatest! First of all, they told us 10 minutes to be seated and it was about 25. Then when we were seated, there were several booths in that area that were empty. The lady that seated us was nice and friendly. Then when our server came he wasn't the friendliest of servers at all. He didn't tell us about the specials that they were featuring or the catch of the day. Then, when I asked him questions he acted as if he didn't want to answer them. Almost as if I was bothering him. He was very brief and didn't go into any details about the meals in question. When we received our food, my husband's crab legs were warm on the outside, but cool on the inside, and that was the first thing he ate. They were also watery. When he opened up the shell, water just poured out and the meat was extremely SALTY! The biscuits were slightly warm. And when I asked my server something he kept on walking and said to me with his back turned, "I heard you"! I never even finished my question because I was waiting for him to come back to the table to see what I wanted (after all, he was our server)or at least turn around and face me when he was talking to me. This was when were eating our salads. So, we didn't say anything about those things that took place. Now, and this really topped things off here, when he returned with our change from us paying our bill, he only brought back the bills that were owed and NO CURRENCY!! It's not like it was only a couple of pennies we had coming back (even if it was, it's our pennies). The server has done this to us the last three times we were there and the last time we asked the manager about this happening and she said that should not be happening. I asked him about it and he said that that's what they usually do, they round up and only bring back the bills. We have never experienced anything like this before at any other restaurants we have visited in a lot of different states. I can not believe that the servers are doing something like this there. We talked with the general manager before we left and he said that they should not be keeping a customer's currency like that. If anything rounding it up so it's in the customer's favor, but not down. I just wanted my correct change. How many other customers are they doing that to?? I will definitely say something about my money, I don't care how small it is. He told us that he would address the issue with that individual and that was it! I asked him are there other Red Lobster restaurants in the area and he said no. As much as we like Red Lobster we do not look forward to visiting this establishment again. If we do dine there again, I will make sure that he isn't our server again! When he brought the currency back he just slammed it on the table and said nothing! Do you think this type of behavior deserves a tip? I know he has a job to do, but we are also paying customers that deserve to be treated in a friendly manner! We hope that we will hear back from the headquarters about this matter, I'm sure they would like to know what goes on in their restaurants.
ALWAYS good, Great VALUE, Large portions, Taste Great! Every thing looks good, will have you asking "what was that plate they are having".
Best Seafood Platter around. Interior has French Quarter Type scenery. I'm just a regular satisfied custom

A long time (thirty-year) diner at Houston's Restaurants (Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, and New York City), I was brought back to heaven this evening at the Houston's in Metairie. In fact, I could have closed my eyes, and, with one bite of the house sal
