Great food and service. Any problems were dealt with right away. Drinks were always filled. Our first choice for Mexican in Florence.
Great subs and the cheesy bread is awesome!
Simply the best vegetable sub on earth. The bread has a crisp crust and slightly chewy texture, and the vegetables are seasoned with an oil and vinegar-based sauce. I also love the fact that they offer tomato slices as a pizza topping. Delivery is always quick and friendly.
Pizza Chef is my favorite place to eat when I am in Florence. They've been in business for a long time, and the quality of the food has never wavered. They offer fresh-made pizzas, salads and subs. It is hard for me to bring myself to try all the menu items because the Hot Italian Sub is so tasty...

1/29/07 5:30pm few people seated, had to wait at least 10 min. to be seated, had to clean a table, So Cold,even with a jacket,and restroom was colder, the music was way too loud and not in good taste, service was awful, one girl was on her cell phone, while waiting on a refill for tea, she also wait...
We were visiting from New Haven, CT (07/11/08)and heard this was the crown jewel of Florence Dining...HA!!!

A home owned execelllent place to eat! This in not a chain! Rick has done it right. A great place for collee age folks or families. Down town Florence is beautiful. Try the shrimp or pork chops! Never had a bad thing at this fine resturaunt!
Great restaurant. One of the best pizzas you will eat anywhere. It is hard to believe that this quality of restaurant is located in Florence. I love to take my gay lover there for a candlelight dinner over pizza and beer. Please don't tell my wife.
