Menu selection and food taste is good. Pizza overpriced. Service horrible!
I loved it! I had the fish over the angel hair pasta. It was absoultely delicious! My boyfriend had the steak po boy special. He said it was very good! The server was great and the new owner came over to introduce himself. I had a great experience and recommend it to anyone.

WE LOVE U SIMON:)
I dined here with my friends and we had a great experience! Love the food and the server was informative, kind, and fun. It's nice to have a neighborhood type place to hang at and relax. Love it!
I have not been to this place since the chef changed, because I adored the pizza, salad and fun atmosphere when he was there. I heard there is a new menu, so I decided to try it. Never again! The service is so bad. It looks like a bunch of people who are mad and don't know what they are doing a...
yuck!
DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I moved here around the same time that this place opened and it was great. I was out of town on business for a few moths and came back to sucky crust, nasty appitizers, and horrible service. apparently the ownership changed and it everyone I have talked to said that it has gone do...

My husband loves Janinos on Airport. We go there about once a month since I took him there over 2 years ago. He thinks it is the best italian food ever. He picked to go to Janinos over Olive Garden and other resturant in Mobile. He loves their alfredo sauce and always orders chicken alfredo.

i may be a bit biased (my parent's neighbors own the restaurant) but i think Via Emilia is the best Italian restaurant in town. The food is amazingly fresh. the menu changes a bit day by day. i've had a couple of the eggplant dishes (soft but not soggy inside, crisp outside) and my mom and husband h...

Delicious food, unbelievable portions. The atmosphere is a bit low maintenance; if you wanted garlic bread with fresh ground pepper with that meal, you'd likely be better off at Carrabbas. And the drinks, flatware, and napkins are self serve. However, it took me two days to finish my lasagna, and...
We love Janinos! Having small children, we usually do take out. Everyone loves their pizza and are always willing to accomodate (1/2 and 1/2 pizzas!). We live in Mid-town and they are very close.
I have never had a bad meal in either Janino's location. I live downtown and only wish the downtown location could be open more evenings. Eggplant with pasta dish was so good I craved it the next night.
