Very nice brand new restaurant, love the black and grey decor and real art on the walls, something different for a barbeque restaurant. The barbeque sauce was out of this world, but order it on the side, especially to go, or you will have quite a mess on your hands.
I am very sadden about the jbs closier in West Valley, Utah. Were were like family there they gave us no notice and I was not givin the privilage to say good by to all my friends there. I have been going there over 10 years. They helped me with the death of my husband and gave me great friendship....

The food is authentic and delicious. Portion size is generous and El Penasco's frozen margaritas are the best in Tempe and perhaps beyond. The decor is a combination Mexican cantina and all you can eat Chinese restuarant. The staff is friendly andthe service is outstanding.
Tom's motto is "More meat falls off than others put on" and that's a fact!! In fact all of the portions there are HUGE. The meat is well smoked provides a delicious smokey flavor that's consistent week after week. Choice of multiple barbeque sauses makes this an all round winner. Check out http://w...
very inexpensive for the amount of food you receive! Very good food as well.
You cannot find better authentic Chinese food anywhere in the East Valley. Don't let the outside of the building fool you; this place is awesome! Make sure to ask for your fried bananas at the end!

I was very pleased - I don't understand how someone could give this buffet a negative review. I just wish it was closer to home.
Finally a local place with class. Bright, clean, friendly, caring management with a great selection of beer including a lot of local breweries represented. High quality food, super happy hour, and now entertainment... Wow I would travel for this place but fortunatly I live close. Tempe just got very...
Ichi Ban has a great sushi bar. The chef is most accomodating. Try the unagi - it's to die for. The regular sit down dining is also good. This place is not cheap, but good, fresh food never is. Two of us spent $60 at the sushi bar and felt it was worth every dime.

If you like bulgogi and other Korean dishes this is the place for you. Excellent food and nice service.
Montis has been in Tempe since it's inception. Unfortunately they have been catering to the football crowd and neglecting the regular customers. If you go during non football times the service and food will be better. They have a new restaurant call Montis at the Ranch on Dobson Road. Similar menu, ...
I have been eating at Rosita's since 1986 and have never had a bad experiance there. The food is great, though I wish they still had some things on the menu that they have taken off. The service and value are better than most mexican (non-fast food) resteraunts. I will definately continue dining the...
Went to Antars around 7:00 on a Monday night. Place was mostly empty, as was everything else on Mill Avenue at that time. Was seated on the patio and ordered the Cajun Chicken Penne and a Kiltlifter. The Cajun Chicken Pasta was excellent, the beer was cold, but the patio was a little hot. Strange...

I felt the food was not worth the price charged. They try to give the appearance of an upscale restaurant, but in reality the food was just average and served tepid instead of hot. I won't be returning.

This is a gem if you like real chinese food. They have 2 menus - one is typical americanized chinese food, and the other is real chinese food. Try the steamed fish - its great. They make a good chow fun. For lovers of real chinese food this place is great.
The food is really delicious, try the tortellini with the pesto cream sauce! Moderately priced with a decent wine selection and a full bar. The inside is not the nicest, it reminds me of a chain of coco's but for dinner and dimmer lighting. Outsiode is really pretty though with trees and lots of nic...
A nice Indian restaurant. The tandoori chicken is good and not overdone. Try the noontime buffet for real value.
Part of a chain, this is an all you can eat salad bar. They have a nice selection of home made soups as well and 3 different pastas as well as assorted foccacia. Their muffins are wonderful. Dessert is included as well. Not cheap, but the food is always fresh and the place is spotless.
This is the same Teds as the one in New York. Good assortment of various types of dogs, custom cooked over a charcoal fire. Real comfort food.

We have been trying all of the local mexican restaurants and we were very pleased with El Penasco. The service was good and the servers VERY friendly! Even the owner came out and said Hi and introduced himself.... The salsas are great and very creative. The enchiladas are bland....but we will be...
