Blend of Thai and Laos food. New owners as of Jan 07. Food is clean tasting. Dishes are not flooded with sauces, the spicing is mild, but tasty. Regular salad (free with lunch) was terrible, essentially white head lettuce with mayonnaise. Did not get to evaluate their Papaya salad.
New owners again.
and the cuisine is a blend of Lao and Thai.
The new owners are making an honest attempt to
provide good, genuine, quality food.
I think they're doing it quite well .
Probably one of a mere handful of restaurants in Vallejo that I would call dependable, reliable and good to ex...
I always enjoy my dinning experience when I go to this restaurant....Service is fast and friendly. The food is always fresh and good.
Only because Vallejo has so little in terms of restaurants can I recomend Mikos. The food is pretty good, though it is in kind of a scary area. Once inside, however, the atmosphere is somewhat improved. Give it a try....
If you can get inside without being hit up for spare change by loiterers in front of the liquor store next door, you will have a pleasant dining experience. The sushi used to be the best in vallejo. That title now must go to sushi-yu on redwood, but mikos still serves good quality sushi. Park clo...
Molinar's Mexico Lindo has been around forever! If you grow up in Vallejo - you will wash dishes at Molinar's!
The food is simple, hearty and good! Chile Colorado with Carne Asada, Chile Verde, Chimichangas and Super Shredded beef taco's. You will not need to order an appetizer - but you should ...
Since there are so few good restaurants in Vallejo, Nujos is a place I visit frequently. The last dish I had, the Chicken Picatta over rissoto (sp?) was quite good, though a bit heavy. They are located in a converted KFC drive through, so the ambience is pretty weird.
One thing to watch for th...
we have been customer of nujos's since they were on springs rd now that moved to georgia st and have change various manangment the moral and customer service has went down or last order was the worst everything was over cook or bruned we tried to call magement the foolow day he said preety much oh w...
I THINK THE SALADS ARE FRESH, BUT FOR THE PRICES WHICH ARE A BIT STEEP THE PORTIONS COULD BE A BIT LARGER TO ACTUALLY BE WORTH THE COST! THEY DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE ADDING A 15% TIP TO THE CHECK THEMSELVES! ISN'T THERE SOME WAY TO REPORT PLACES LIKE THAT OR IS THERE NO LEGAL LIMITATIONS? TIPS SHOU...
I love pasta and during the past month I have twice gone to Nujos and had a spaghetti meal. Both times I was satisfied. The place was clean and quiet (not that many customers). I like Olive Garden a little better, but this place happens to be closer to where I currently work.
The title of this restaurant is actually Cha Am. The food is very good, prices are very reasonable. Vallejo has a shortage of restaurants, and this might be the best of what this city has to offer. Check out www.vallejobites.com for more info.
Great food great value,
I tried to have them cater an event for me I called several times and whoever answered the phone was not very friendly. me being an executive Chef was truly dissapointed so I called china wok great people friendly, courteous and carin overall have a great meal and GREAT SER...
We order in. Nujos used to be good until a few months ago. We don't know of many places you can order with as much selection, however though the selections look good on paper they now disapoint in reality. The Carbonara was overcooked to the point where the noodles were almost as soft as the sauce...
It was good but nothing too special. i have had better chinese food in downtown vallejo.
Cha-Am = Rude Management
My boyfriend and I went to Cha Am (in Vallejo) for dinner on June 27, 2003 and left upset and hungry. After waiting for our food for almost an hour, we decided to tell the person at the register (because our waiter was nowhere to be found) to cancel our order. The manag...
I've eaten lunch at Lucky Garden many times and the food is always excellent! Highly recommended if you're looking for Chinese cuisine in the Vallejo area.
I'm originally from Vallejo. Me and my buddy's always loved this resturant.. and I'm on the eastcoast now and i still have not found 1 general tso's chicken better than theirs... good people too...
