Judging by the reviews, we chose this restaurant as we wanted to get away from the usual 'chain' style restaurant. But what a disappointment. The place was scruffy, grubby and the salad bar was very poor, having run out of certain items, and the seats were hard and lumpy, as well as torn in places...
The place needs a good cleaning and the employees need to observe health code rules.(not eating in service area,and others)
My wife and I return to Abios over and over for a few simple reasons, first being the food is amazing. We are called by name each time we go, and the conversations make you feel like family. Love the place!!!

AL has the best Pizza, Calzone and Classic italian dishes ever. His sauce is great and all his dough, Pastas, and meatballs are homemade by his wife. Perfect choice for dinner or Lunch anytime
Best pizza I've had since 1961
We walked in, all 7 of us and were seated as soon as the table was ready. We enjoyed great food, friendly service...even my son who is very particular about red sauce, loved his lasagna. Would go back definetly

This is an overlooked sushi restaurant. This is one of our favorite sushi joints in Ocala. Food is great, service is friendly, and it is a small homey restaurant where you feel taken care of. Highly recommended. I prefer Aki to Tony's or any of the larger Japanese restaurants.

The few times I'v eaten at Applebee's I have been entirely satisfied. It has been a pleasure each time and I will return.
You have to see this place to believe it. Everything top notch and spotlessly clean. 44 Ice Cream and yogurt flavors.......plus 33 toppings. WOW!
Big Rascal has the best bar-b-que sandwich we have found in Fla.

HORRIBLE NASTY MEAL!!! We ordered the sunday special 'sirloin tips'. The 'meat' (all 5 or 6 small cut cubes) had been dredged in flour and browned..as for prep for beef stew!
