There is nothing else like Anthony's. We had an intimate dinner without having to raise our voices and the meal was great. I've eaten here over the years over 30 times and never had a bad meal. Everything I've tried is fantastic! I've taken many of my customers here for dinner and see them the next night with their friends and family. It gets busy and sometimes a wait. Tops in my book!!!

This place has excellent whiting fish!! No one can top them!
I've been going to Bankhead Fish and Soul Food resturnat for 15 years and although the ambience this resturant is wanting, the fish is awesome. The amount of fish you get for $4.50 is amazing and it tastes great.
I've been eating fish from here since I was 9 years of age. I'm now 43 years of age and the fish is still superb. There use to be another soul food restaurant by the name of the Thomas Seafood in Decatur. Bankhead Fish & Soul and Thomas Seafood were the best in town.
