Hands down best food in Ames!
This food is the best. It is fresh and tastes so good. If you have a specification as to how you like your food, they will do their best to do it that way. It is a busy place, but well worth the wait if you have to wait.

The food at Thai Kitchen is fabulous. I eat there regularly, and my favorites is the Green Curry. Other favorites are the Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, Thai Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Thom Ka soup. I could go on and on. Even my kids, ages 10, 8 and 3 love the food. This is a mom & pop place in a col...

Who knew this subway in a small town would be a hidden gem! We have been to various subways all across US and overseas but this one would easily rank one of best. I left it to the staff to select the sauces, the sub was delicious. Service was very good and delivered with a smile.
The best pizza I've ever had. Some of the other menu items are not impressive, but the pizza because a regular habit. It is a must-eat when we are in the area.

Great food. The pad thai is delicious. All desserts look delicious, but the tiramisu is the best as I can say from personal experience. Try the satay as an appetizer...it is so good! The experience is worth the cost! Try The Spice!!

Has to be one of the secret treasures in Ames. Used to have a completly Indonesian menu but now has chinese as well. Simply the best chinese and indonesian in Ames. Also has tons of live music and pushes to showcase local musicians.

Bali Satay is one of the things I miss most about Ames after moving from the town. Friendly staff and excellent cooking make for a terrific lunch for Iowa State employees, as it's right across the street from campus. Students looking for lunch may wish to phone ahead, all food is prepared fresh an...
I pulled of the freeway looking for a place to eat and get fuel. I wanted to get some fast service but it turned out to be friendly as well. I felt happy when the left Burger King as well as well fed!

The Spicy Stomach was one of the most delicious meals I've had in years!
Pancheros is ALWAYS 1st Class. If you have ever had this it is absolutely AWESOME!! I can't wait for them to open.
I went to Wallaby's the first day I was in Ames, IA. Service was fast and friendly. I recommend the wings. They were probably some of the best wings I've ever eaten.
